The Tipperary Women's Mini Marathon is an annual 10k event for women which takes place on the last weekend September each year in either Clonmel or Thurles and is the largest event of its kind for women in Tipperary.
Keep Well Programmes
This is a 10 week beginner's hill walking programme. The programme begins with flat walks and continues twice weekly increasing distance and introducing hills over the course of the programme. Walking poles are also provided to give participants the opportunity to experience using them on hills.
The Get Tipperary walking initiative is an 8 week beginners walking programme that can be delivered within a community. The programme includes a different walking route each night which builds distance weekly starting at 4k. Following the completion of the programme communities aim to remain walking as a group.
