As part of Women in Sport Week Tipperary Sports Partnership are delighted to host a workshop Fueling Your Fitness for Women In Sport.

This workshop will be delivered by Ruth Kavanagh, MSc. ANutr. (Registered Associate Nutritionist) from EduFIT.
This workshop takes place on Wednesday 5th of March, 2025 at 6pm.

It is aimed at active girls and women and will also benefit people who support young active girls including fitness instructors, coaches, female liaison officers, PE teachers, friends and family.

This workshop is full of evidence-based information presented in a simple and practical manner, with lots of examples and take-home resources, and will be delivered online via Zoom.

The following topics will be discussed:

Which types of carbohydrates, proteins and fats are optimal for sports nutrition.
How much of each macronutrient you typically need on your plate each mealtime.
The best pre- and post-workout foods (with meal examples).
How to implement 'The 4 Rs' after training.
Breaking down supplements: which are worth it and why?
