As part of Women in Sport Week Tipperary Sports Partnership are delighted to host a free one hour workshop “Training and the Female Menstrual Cycle”
It will be delivered by Dr. Kiera Ward (Exercise Physiologist and Sports Scientist) and Ruth Kavanagh, MSc. ANutr. (Registered Associate Nutritionist) from EduFIT.
This workshop is aimed at young active girls (aged 15 – 18 years old) who would like to learn more about training, nutrition, recovery and wellbeing with special considerations related to the menstrual cycle.
This workshop will benefit people who support young active girls including fitness instructors, coaches, female liaison officers, PE teachers, friends and family.
It is full of evidence-based information presented in a simple and practical manner, with lots of examples and take-home resources, and will be delivered online via Zoom.
This workshop takes place on Monday March, 3rd from 8.15pm to 9.45pm
