The countdown is on for Olympics 2024!!.
Best of luck to the Irish team especially the Tipperary members including Daire Lynch (Rowing), Amee-Leigh Murphy Crowe (Rugby Sevens) and Sharlene Mawdsley (Athletics).
The opening ceremony will take place on Friday July 26th at 18.25 along the River Seine in Paris.

Amee-Leigh is part of the Irish Rugby Sevens Womens team and their qualifiers take place on Sunday July 28th at 14.30 and 18.00 and Monday July 29th at 13.30.
The Irish Rugby Sevens team reached the quarter final which took place on Monday July 29th at 9.30pm.
Well done Amee-Leigh on an excellent performance and also making history by being the first ever woman to score a try at the Olympics
Daire will be competing in the Mens Double Sculls (M2x).The heats takes place on Saturday July 27th at 10.30am.
Well done to Daire and his rowing partner Philip Doyle on winning their heat. They will compete in the Olympic semi finals on Tuesday July 30th at 10am.
Daire and Philip won their semi final and are through to the Olympic Final that takes place on Thursday August 1st at 9.40am
Well done to Daire and Philip on coming third in the Olympic Final and winning a bronze medal.
Sharlene is competing in the Athletics 400m, 4 * 400m Womens relay and 4 * 400m mixed relay team.
The 4 * 400m mixed relay team round 1 heat takes place on Friday August 2nd at 6.10pm.
The mixed relay team finished 10th overall.
The 400m round 1 heats take place on Monday 5th of August at 10.55am.
Sharlene finished fourth in her heat and went through to the repechage and finished 3rd
The next race for Sharlene is the 4 * 400m Women's relay takes place on Friday 9th of August at 9.40am.
The women's team came third with an amazing last leg from Sharlene and are into the Olympic final which takes place on Saturday the 10th of August after 8pm.
