In 2020, TSP received funding from Sport Ireland to develop a Community Sports Hub in Tipperary Town. The aim of the project is to develop a vibrant and welcoming Community Sports Hub in Tipperary Town connecting the local people with the Canon Hayes Recreation Centre specifically those who are disadvantaged and inactive. It aims to increase participation in physical activity through the provision of education and training programmes, sporting opportunities and building the capacity of the Community Sport Hub.
