Suir Transformation 12km Walk - 11th March

For all participants of the Suir Transformation walking programme this 12km walk is to celebrate the completion of the 8 week programme delivered by Siul Eile on behalf of the Tipperary Sports Partnership. The walk will take place on Sunday 11th March at 10 a.m., with registration commencing at 9a.m. in the Clonmel Technical Institute (CTI), The Mall.

Parking will be available the car park at the Gas House Bridge, there will be no parking allowed in CTI.
High viz jacket and suitable walking shoes must be worn and it is recommended that all participants bring water with them on the walk.
Dogs are not permitted on the walk due to health and safety.
Light refreshments will be provided in CTI following the Walk.
All participants are responsible for their own safety.

  • All entrants participate at their own risk.
  • All participants must obey the rules of the road at all times. Be aware of other road users. This event will be run on open roads.
  • Participants must obey the instructions of the Gardaí, the Civil Defence and event marshals at all times.
  • No headphones to be worn by participants for safety reasons.
  • Participants must be over 18 years of age, participants under 18 years of age must have parental consent, please contact TSP offices on 052-6187080 for further information.
  • Participants must follow the road signage for the event.
  • Participants are asked not to litter.
  • To avoid any delays on the day of the walk we would ask participants to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the walk.
