If you are looking for something to do on these rapidly darkening nights you can shorten the winter with this free walks program. It runs every Monday and Wednesday, starting on Monday 9th October at 7.30pm, meeting at Ardfinnan Community Hall

Get fresh air, meet the neighbours and unwind on country roads you never knew existed!

It will be dark so high viz jacket and head or hand torch are essential.

A SafeTALK “Suicide Alertness for Everyone” workshop will take place on Wednesday 11th October 2017 in the Abbey Court Hotel,Nenagh from 09.45am–2.00pm.

At this workshop, learn how to provide basic and practical help to persons with thoughts of suicide. It prepares you to be a suicide alert helper and provides you with the awareness that opportunities to help someone at risk are often missed, dismissed and avoided. It also teaches you the awareness of TALK steps (Tell, Ask, Listen and Keep-safe) and the ability to activate a suicide alert.

Tipperary Sports Partnership are running a Disability Inclusion Training course in association with the CARA Adapted Physical Activity Centre in Thurles Presentation Sports Complex on Saturday 20th May from 10am – 4:00pm.

Get in shape, have fun and make new friends for you & your baby.
Combination of indoor/outdoor exercise class.
More importantly no childcare is necessary because you train with your little bundle of joy in their buggy.
Classes take place at the Dr Pat O' Callaghan Complex, Cashel road, Clonmel every Friday morning from 10-11am.

This is a programme which links physical activity with positive mental well-being. The aims are to educate sport and physical activity organisations and provide training in the area of mental well being through ‘SafeTALK “Suicide Alertness for Everyone”, ASIST ‘Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, Peer Support and Self Advocacy Training and WRAP (Wellness, Recovery, Action, Planning). It also aims to increase awareness of the resources available and encourage the people of Tipperary to be proactive in protecting and maintaining their well being.
