Become a confident swimmer in 2019! Tipperary Sports Partnership is facilitating Swim Ireland’s Swim for a Mile programme in 2018 through a 12 week instructor led training programme which will take place in the following locations starting the week of the 14th January 2019:

Clonmel Swimming Pool: Tuesday 7-8pm and Friday 7-8pm

Thurles Leisure Centre: Tuesday 7.45-8.45pm and Thursday 7.45-8.45pm

Nenagh Leisure Centre: Tuesday 6-7pm and Thursday 7-8pm

Sean Kelly Sports Centre Carrick on Suir: Monday 8-9pm and Wednesday 8-9pm

Tipperary Sports Partnership in association Siul Eile are facilitating an 8 Week Walking Programme in Moyne and surrounding areas. These walks will take place on Monday nights at 7.30pm commencing on 1st October 2018 from Moyne Athletic Club. In order to partake in the walks each night, a high viz vest and torch are essential. The cost of the programme is €10 + online booking fee. The walks will allow you to walk with a group at your own pace and enjoy a new route each night witht the distance starting at 4km and small increases each week.

Tipperary Sports Partnership in association Siul Eile are facilitating an 8 Week Walking Programme in the Slieveardagh area. These walks will take place on Wednesday nights at 7.30pm commencing on 3rd October 2018 from Ballingarry Community Hall. In order to partake in the walks each night, a high viz vest and torch are essential. The cost of the programme is €10 + online booking fee. The walks will allow you to walk with a group at your own pace and enjoy a new route each night with the distance starting at 4km and small increases each week.

Tipperary Sports Partnership is facilitating a 6 week Women’s Swimming Programme in Clonmel Swimming Pool and Thurles Leisure Centre. The programme is aimed at women who can swim at least 2 lengths of a pool confidently and wish to improve their technique and increase swimming distance. Please note the programme is not suitable for non-swimmers ie. this programme is not swimming lessons it is for improving a swimmers technique.
